Although….I cheated… just a tiny bit…..
I just don’t have the time to make my own pastry dough – too much work in my opinion. The refrigerated Pillsbury Pie Dough works just fine. I simply unrolled the rounds and used a pizza cutter to cut in eighths – each round makes 4 tarts. Simple as, well….PIE!
I also decreased the amount of maple glaze that the recipe called for….I just drizzled it – no need to coat the tart with all that sugar.
The entire family gobbled these up and wanted seconds. This recipe is a keeper (of course I knew that before I made them!)
