If you are anything like me, somewhere, deep in your closet you have a pile of jeans. Jeans that don’t fit, jeans that you purchased and then decided you didn’t like, jeans that are too big, jeans that are out of style….but for whatever reason, you just can’t part with them! Well, I have decided that if I can’t get rid of them, I should turn them into something that I can use….after all, it is a waste to have all this denim taking up space in the back of my closet.
So, here are a couple of ideas….
I used my iphone tutorial as the basis for this case. I just added a pocket and changed the shape of the flap. I added some top-stitching to keep with the denim look.
After making my phone case, my daughter asked me to make one for her. Since she has no use for an electronic case, I thought I would take the opportunity to try out this Eddie Cap tutorial by Mushroom Villagers.
So don’t let your old jeans sit in the back of your closet….give them new life and upcycle them into something that will be used!!!!!
